Bandits Program For The Youngest Players

The Bandits, Lake Forest & Lake Bluff’s own girls lacrosse program is excited to announce their lacrosse clinics / skill sessions type clinics/camps for 1st & 2nd grade players.  It is our hope to help develop young players joy of the game at an early age and build on those skills throughout our program. We hope to create good lacrosse experience that we will build upon.  This program will focus on building strength/coordination, balance, and fundamental athleticism.  This Spring we will work in game-like scrimmages to help give the younger players a feel for the game.

BANDITS ROOKIES SPRING PROGRAM 2024 —-STARTS, SUNDAY, April 7th

Grades: 1st & 2nd

Spring:  SUNDAYS:              TBA  Window…50 minutes somewhere between 1:00pm – 3:00pm 

Pick-up :  … TBA

TO DO LIST:

  1.  Register online at banditslacrosseclub.org
  2. Submit payment online.
  3. Check your daughter’s equipment:  Required equipment 1. Girls lacrosse stick, 2. protective eye goggles, and 3. strapless mouth-guard
  4. Attend first practice——-  Arrive 5-10 minutes early if possible and pick-up promptly at program end time at designated spot-_______TBA_______(our coaches have to coach other age groups after they are finished with the 2nd graders).

Parents of 1st & 2nd grade girls,
Register soon for the popular Bandits Lacrosse—your “go-to” local lacrosse program serving Lake Forest and Lake Bluff.  We have over 175 girls on our Bandits teams in 3rd grade thru 8th grade last year. We are now offering a short seven week programs, for 1st and 2nd graders to help introduce them to the basics of lacrosse. (We are enrolling only 2nd graders in the Fall program.) We have a program for the 1st & 2nd graders in the Spring.
 
At these young ages it is important to get the players working on their coordination, strength, and balance as well as basic lacrosse skills.  We like to say “The Right Lacrosse” at “The Right time”.  Our hope is to help build your daughters love of lacrosse at an early age and build on those strengths throughout the years.
