Spring 2017 Season Kicks Off

The Bandits will enter 3 teams in league play this spring 2017.  There are still a few spots left on the 7th/8th grade & 4th grade teams.  We have begun a wait for the 5th/6th team.  We will be practicing indoors for a couple of weeks, then heading outdoors on April 3rd at 6:15pm at Lake Forest College, behind the ice hockey arena.

Winter Clinic begin Sunday, Jan. 15th

The Bandits popular winter clinics will begin Sunday, Jan. 15th and continue for 8 Sundays of lacrosse instruction. Winter times:  3PM-4PM (4th & 5th grades); 4PM-5PM (6th*, 7th, & 8th graders).  The Bandits spring season will begin indoors on March  12th.

2017 Registration is Open!

Attention all Bandits and other interested girl lacrosse players.  The 2017 season is right around the corner, as the Bandits enter their 4th year.  We are offering our popular winter clinics beginning Sunday, Jan. 15th—these skills and drills sessions will run for 8 Sunday afternoons. Bandits hire 5 coaches for Fall lacrosse

The Bandits are proud to announce the hiring of 5 qualified college level players to coach our fall ball teams. We look forward to another outstanding lacrosse program this fall with excellent coaches and excited and enthused players.  Fall is a great time to begin learning lacrosse  or to sharpen your lacrosse skills.

Fall Ball begins August 22nd

With summer coming to an end and school beginning soon, the Bandits are gearing up for their fall ball season—-seven weeks of lacrosse skills and drills followed by a season ending local tournament.  Fall is the ideal time of year to work on your lacrosse.  The Bandits are busy trying to secure fields for fall.  Practice days will be Mondays and Wednesday at South Park.

Thurs., May 5th-Bandit Recognition Night

20160505_185943Bandit nightBandits are excited to announce that all teams will be announced at the halftime of the Lake Forest HS Girls’ Varsity lacrosse game, May 5th versus New Trier.  The Bandits are encouraged to attend and show their support and appreciation to LF’s coach Catherine Catanzaro for recognizing our Bandit teams.  Girls will sit together by team and should wear their game uniform (jersey only).  Let’s have a great turn-out !! Game begins at 6:15pm at LFHS West Campus, 300 S. Waukegan Rd..

Team One helps open 1st Spring U15 practice

A big thanks to the folks at Team One for helping kick off the first U15 practice of the spring.  Over 20 Bandits were put through fast pace, high tempo, team training on Monday night at Lake Forest College.  The girls really enjoyed meeting and training with Dave, Mark, and Jane.

Bandits hire Delia Snediker to help coach U13 team!

The Bandits are fortunate to have discovered and hired Dalia Snediker, a recent transfer from University of Denver.  Delia, a local 2014 Loyola Academy graduate and DU lacrosse player will be instrumental in developing our young lacrosse players. Delia played her club lacrosse with the Wildcat Elite Club from Northwestern University.   Delia will pass along the skills she has learned while playing for top level teams in high school, club, and Division 1 lacrosse.  We are so excited to have her join our staff this spring.
