Bandits offer a Fall 2015 Program for 4th-6th Grades
Fall 2015 Bandits Lacrosse U11 Developmental Program (4th-6th Grades)
Parents of 4th-6th grade girls: Here is your invitation and opportunity to play Fall lacrosse with the awesome Bandits. This Fall, 2015, Bandits Lacrosse will offer for the second time a developmental program designed for 4th-6th grade girls who are interested and eager to continue learning lacrosse. Our younger Bandits are an awesome group of athletic and scrappy girls who are so much fun to have in our program. Coach Olivia said, “By the end of last spring our 4th graders, some who had never played before, were able to hold their own with the older Bandits.”
This fall Bandits have secured a commitment from a current college lacrosse player as our developmental coach. We have put together 6 weeks of lacrosse during which your daughters will learn the basics of lacrosse and have a ton of fun. As they sharpen their skills, we will gently schedule them into scrimmages and some game-like competitions. We are serious about creating a fun, safe, and growth-oriented program that nurtures our young lacrosse players, giving them a healthy and fun lacrosse experience. Ultimately, we hope to see them playing as older Bandits and loving the game that encourages their self esteem. Ask any of last years 4th and 5th grade Bandit parents— they well tell you how much progress their daughter made playing in our program.
If your daughter is new to the sport, no worries! Our dynamic coach will get her up to speed at a pace best suited for her. We will be putting together one developmental team. Registration is now open! Please register soon so that we can plan accordingly.
Bandits Ready to Roll into Spring Season
Great news lacrosse families. The Bandits Lacrosse Club is the new exciting lacrosse program for 5th through 8th grade girls based in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff. After a highly successful first season where we trained over 60 local girls, we are eagerly awaiting our spring program. Come and join the fun this spring and see why everyone is so excited about Bandits Lacrosse.
Girls, here is your opportunity to play with The Bandits Lacrosse. Last season our Bandit girls were trained by Coach Catanzaro, Head Coach of the Lake Forest Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse Team and many of her varsity lacrosse players. Besides having tons of fun, meeting Coach “Cat”, and winning a large local area lacrosse tournament the girls all advanced their skills and confidence in lacrosse.
This coming spring the Bandits Lacrosse Club has put together another awesome program of two months of lacrosse during which you will sharpen your lacrosse skills, train in our Lake Forest lacrosse feeder program, and compete in a new league. If you are new to the sport, no worries, our coaches will get you up to speed quickly. We will be assembling two teams to play in a new league this spring. We are anticipating a full roster next spring so please sign up early to hold a spot.
Our Spring Lacrosse Program will be beginning April 2015

Bandits commit 4 new awesome coaches!
“Our spring coaches are a special group–
they exemplify the character & values
we hope to instill into our young girls”
Bandits will compete in 8 games and a tournament!
Opportunities offered for younger 4th grade girls
The Bandits are considering expanding down to the 4th grade level due to the success and abilities displayed by this younger group at our Winter Clinics. Coach says, “ These young ones are an eager and fun group of beginner lacrosse players. We’d love for them to become future Bandits.”
There is a new league the older Bandits are in that have 4th/5th grade U11 teams available for competition…. We would suggest a modified game scenario to help slowly acclimate the young players (4th grade) to the competitive experience. We want to build on positive experience!
Bandits join NSCL Conference for Spring!
We’d like to invite your daughter to play with The Bandits Lacrosse program this spring where we will be fielding three teams. As a result of our first year’s success, the Bandits have plenty of opportunities for competitions in the spring. We are excited to be joining the North Shore Lacrosse Conference (NSLC) providing us the opportunity to play 6-8 games.
Over the past year, we have established ourselves as a highly respected community based youth lacrosse club. We appreciate our community’s faith and confidence in our ability to deliver an awesome lacrosse experience for our local girls. Our coaches and parents have been amazed at the overall development of the skills of our players in the Bandits program. This fall, our Bandits were trained by Coach “Cat” Catanzaro, Head Coach of the Lake Forest Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse Team, along with many of her varsity lacrosse players. Although our program primarily emphasizes effort, developing lacrosse skills, gaining confidence, and having fun—more so than our won/loss record—winning a large local tournament this fall was an exciting experience for our girls!
We hope you are as pleased and excited as we are with the direction of our program and we look forward to your participation and support. This year we are opening an early registration and requesting a deposit in January so that we can have custom uniforms ordered in time for the spring season. Please watch your email for Saturday winter clinics in January. Thank you again.
Happy Holidays & Kindest Regards,
John Lazzaretto & Kevin Robinson
